Bus fares in yangon increase today but there are not many bus running in yangon said the conductor who is working sule –nroth okala line No 43 .
No 43 line which is running between sule ( downtown) and north okalapa has changed from 100 kyats to 200 kyats for each person.
“ No more 50 kyats if u take any bus u have to pay at least 100 kyats wherever you go”. He added." every bus line change the fares because of the fuel and CNG prices that changed yesterday.he explained.
There are round about 5000 buses which have been running for Yangon city ,round about 6 million people lived , Most of the buses lines already changed from fuel engine to compressed natural gas engine.
"we will stick the new prices list on the buses but we had officially got approval from the head"
